Robust demand for uni study in 2021

04 Aug 2020

THE 91ÌÒÉ« Admissions Centre (91ÌÒÉ«) reports that applications for uni study in 2021 are strong, with well over 24,000 Year 12 applications already received.

That trend is likely to continue, with all courses for semester 1, 2021 now available on the 91ÌÒÉ« website.

In one application, students can apply for study at 25 institutions, offering more than 2,000 courses. Having a 91ÌÒÉ« application also allows students to apply for Educational Access Schemes, Schools Recommendation Schemes and Equity Scholarships.

Kim Paino, General Manager of Marketing and Engagement, encourages students who haven’t already applied to apply before Wednesday 30 September, when the fee increases. 'Even if they’re not sure yet what they want to study, they should apply now because they’ll have plenty of time to change their preferences later.'

For Year 12 students who have already applied, now is a good time for them to to their application to review and update their course preferences.

While the ATAR is still the main selection tool for Year 12s, the disruptions to students this year caused by COVID-19 mean that many institutions have extended early entry schemes and other entry options available to help Year 12s get to uni in 2021.

91ÌÒÉ« is also here to help and our call centre is fully operational on 1300 275 822 Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Livechat and email are available on our website.

91ÌÒÉ« is running a Live Q&A on and at 6pm tomorrow, Wednesday 5 August, to answer questions from students, schools and parents about uni study in 2021.
