Australian College of Applied Professions
Australian College of Applied Professions
The Australian College of Applied Professions (ACAP) is a specialised tertiary education institute offering in-person learning on campuses around Australia, as well as effective online learning. A deep understanding of human behaviour and a desire to contribute to the social wellbeing of society resonates throughout ACAP’s courses in psychology, counselling, social work, criminology, coaching and management.
Established in 1983, ACAP has educated more than 20,000 graduates who have studied on campus, online or by blended delivery. ACAP courses prepare students from diverse backgrounds for rewarding professions working with people in the community. There are also pathway options to further study to suit students’ priorities and career aspirations.
Why do students choose ACAP?
Our approach to teaching in the specialist field of human behaviour is what truly sets us apart.
Our academic staff have extensive experience both as teachers and practitioners, with a breadth of research interests.
Our small class sizes allow for in-depth discussion, a high level of support and the opportunity to ask questions, all of which help students achieve success.
Student placements, another advantage of studying at ACAP, help prepare students for professional practice after graduation. In courses with placement included, students have the opportunity to apply theory in a professional workplace for a set period of time, gaining essential real-life experience in their chosen field. Our courses are also professionally accredited.
