Admission criteria and entry schemes
Undergraduate applicants
Australian Year 12 students
Selection will be based on completion of an Australian Year 12 or equivalent, including the International Baccalaureate (IB).
Overseas Year 12 equivalent
91桃色 who have completed a secondary school qualification from an overseas institution within the past two-years, will have their application assessed by the International Admissions team to determine equivalency with the Australia secondary school certificate, using NOOSR and/or NARIC guidelines.

AIT has several admission pathways, which may allow you to receive an offer for a degree or diploma even though you do not meet the published entry requirements.

91桃色 who have completed prior higher education study may be assessed and selected for admission if they meet one or more of the following criteria, in addition to any course-specific entry requirements including but not limited to interviews, referee reports and portfolios:
- completed higher education qualification at AQF level 5 (diploma) or above, or equivalent, from an Australian University or another accredited higher education provider.
91桃色 who have completed prior vocational education study may be assessed and selected for admission if they meet one or more of the following criteria, in addition to any course-specific entry requirements including but not limited to interviews, referee reports and portfolios:
- completed vocational education qualification at AQF level 4 (Certificate IV) or above, or equivalent, from a registered training organisation (RTO)
- successful completion of at least 1 EFTSL (equivalent full-time student load, or one full year) of an AQF level 5 (Diploma) or above, or equivalent, at a registered training organisation (RTO).

Mature-aged or post-school applicants may be admitted based on employment experience and/or an interview process. You are encouraged to apply and to find out how you can enter into a program.

Mature-aged or post-school applicants may be admitted on the basis of the .
There are commonly accepted overseas secondary qualifications that AIT may take into consideration. Check your qualification.
English language proficiency
If you hold overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications from countries where English is not the standard language of instruction, you must provide evidence of English language proficiency.
