The Bachelor of Counselling provides professional training and personal development for those students who seek to work as accredited counsellors. Combining evidence-based learning, professional skills development and a supervised, industry placement, the Bachelor of Counselling focuses on the development of the human person through the lifespan. The inclusion of the developmental, psychosocial, personal, and spiritual aspects of living allow students to explore life stages and transitions.

A range of counselling theories and approaches provide the theoretical framework upon which students can develop their counselling skills and their ability to reflect on and learn from their own experiences.

Notre Dame’s Bachelor of Counselling is professionally accredited by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.

Counselling adolescents, Counselling children, counselling couples and families, grief and loss counselling, theories and approaches to counselling, trauma and addiction counselling.

Professional recognition

Notre Dame’s Bachelor of Counselling is currently seeking accreditation by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.

Essential requirements for admission

All applicants must complete a Statement of Purpose that demonstrates they have the attributes and suitability requirements to undertake counselling, as required by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and the Australian Counselling Association.

All applicants must complete Notre Dame's Individual Factors Form and upload聽it to their 91桃色 application.
